Terms of use and sale
The rules for using Shrinkzy, written to be read.
The service
Shrinkzy offers online tools to compress, convert and edit files (video, images, PDF, audio). Processing happens in your browser: your files are not uploaded.
The free plan needs no account. Its limits (number of videos per day, files at once) are shown on the pricing section and may change.
Your use
Use Shrinkzy only for files you have the right to use. You remain responsible for your files and what you do with the results.
Don't try to disrupt the site, bypass its limits or reuse its code in breach of the licences.
“Sign PDF” adds an image of your signature: it is a simple electronic signature, not a certified or qualified one.
“Unlock PDF” only removes a password you already know. It must not be used on documents you are not entitled to open.
No guarantee of result
Shrinkzy is provided as is. Results depend on your file, your browser and your device. Keep your original files: Shrinkzy never modifies them.
We may change, suspend or stop a tool, in particular to fix a problem.
Shrinkzy Pro
Pro is a subscription (monthly or yearly) sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record: it takes the payment, issues the invoice, handles VAT and refunds under its buyer terms. Prices are shown including VAT.
The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period. You can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt email; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid.
Pro is a digital service that starts as soon as you pay. By asking for immediate access, you agree that it starts before the 14-day withdrawal period ends and you waive your right of withdrawal for that period. If Pro doesn't work on your device, write to us within 14 days and we will look at each case in good faith.
Disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In case of a problem, write to us first: most issues are solved quickly. For a purchase, you can also contact Lemon Squeezy, the seller. Consumers keep the protections of the law of their country of residence.
