Privacy policy
The short version: your files never leave your device, and we collect almost nothing. Here is the detail.
Who is responsible
The data controller is the publisher of Shrinkzy, a private individual.
Your files
Your files are opened and processed by your own browser. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. We cannot see them, keep them or share them.
What is stored on your device
Your settings, the daily free-video counter and, if “My files” is on, a copy of your results, all in your browser's storage on your device. Nothing of it is sent to us.
This storage is not used to track you and needs no consent. You can delete it at any time from the My files page or by clearing your browser data.
Hosting logs
Like any website, our host Netlify receives technical data needed to deliver the pages: IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time. Netlify processes it on our behalf to run and protect the site (our legitimate interest).
Netlify is based in the United States. Transfers are covered by the safeguards provided by the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses).
Statistics
The site uses no analytics tool, no advertising tracker and no cookies.
Payments (Shrinkzy Pro)
When Pro is on sale, payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy (Link, LLC (formerly Lemon Squeezy LLC), 222 South Main Street, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, UT 84101, United States), which acts as the seller and processes your payment data as an independent controller. We never see your card details. We receive your email address, country and subscription status, to give you access to Pro and answer your questions. See the Lemon Squeezy buyer terms.
How long
Hosting logs: as set by Netlify, usually a few weeks. Purchase records: as long as the law requires (up to 10 years for accounting).
Your rights
Shrinkzy collects no personal data about you itself. For hosting logs, you can exercise your rights with Netlify (privacy@netlify.com). You can also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr).
